What each GRE study tool should do
No single product should own every part of preparation. Official questions define the target. A course teaches content and strategy. An AI tutor explains a specific gap and generates supplemental practice. Spaced repetition keeps vocabulary and formulas retrievable. An error log decides what to study next.
Start with official ETS material before judging a third-party question bank. AI-generated items can drill algebra, reading logic, vocabulary, and essay planning, but their difficulty is not evidence of what ETS will use. Label generated material so it is never confused with official practice.
Use an official diagnostic to direct your time
- Take a timed POWERPREP test using only permitted materials.
- Record Quant, Verbal, and Analytical Writing separately.

- Group errors by type and select the two patterns with greatest impact.

A weekly GRE study loop
Use the study guide generator, flashcard maker, and practice exam generator between official simulations. Preserve at least one official practice test for a later benchmark.
Divide each week between targeted learning, untimed accuracy work, timed sets, and review. Increase timed work only after the underlying method is reliable. Track why an option was wrong or why a calculation failed; a score alone cannot tell you whether the next session should focus on content, pacing, or decision-making.
