Guided Study is a tutoring mode, currently in beta. Instead of handing you the answer, it starts from your own attempt, works out where you got stuck, and gives progressively stronger hints — then checks you have understood and generates similar practice questions. Yes. A shared tutoring-style setting — Adaptive, Answers first, Balanced, or Teach me — controls how much Apex tells you versus how much it makes you work out, and response length is separately adjustable. Uploading your syllabus, notes and slides also makes explanations course-specific rather than generic.

This does not alter or bypass any separate device-management, institution, or proctoring software your school may use. Use Apex Vision AI only where permitted.

The public Apex Vision AI benchmark is 93% accuracy for Knowledge Kickstart and Savvy Scholar. Mastermind is labeled Highest Accuracy because it uses the most capable answer workflow rather than a separate public percentage. Actual results still vary by subject, question complexity, image quality, and model.

Our tool focuses on one question at a time for accuracy. If a page shows several questions, zoom in (Ctrl + + / ⌘ + +) so only one question is visible — this helps the AI concentrate on the right question.
