Your Genius Study Assistant
Learn how to use Apex Vision AI responsibly as a study supplement while maintaining academic integrity and staying compliant with your institution’s honor code.
Apex Vision AI is designed as a study supplement, similar to a digital tutor or a solutions manual. Using it to generate explanations, break down complex concepts, or check your work is generally compliant with “Open Book” and “Study Aid” policies.
However: Using Apex Vision AI to bypass proctoring software, strictly closed-note exams, or to represent AI-generated text as your own original work violates our Terms of Service and most university Honor Codes.
At Apex Vision AI, we believe artificial intelligence is the future of education—but only when used responsibly. We want to ensure our users stay safe and remain within the boundaries of academic integrity.
Here is the official breakdown of how to use Apex Vision AI compliantly.
These actions are typically considered “smart studying” and are encouraged by our platform:
Asking the AI to explain a complex physics problem step-by-step so you understand the method.
Uploading your own math work to see where you made a calculation error.
Using the AI to summarize long research papers to understand the key points faster.
Asking Apex Vision AI to “Generate 5 more problems like this one” to practice for an upcoming test.
These actions violate the Apex Vision AI User Agreement and likely your school’s code of conduct:
Using the app during a proctored or closed-book exam to get answers without learning the material.
Copying and pasting AI-generated essays or code and submitting them entirely as your own work without citation.
Attempting to use our tools to circumvent browser lockdowns or proctoring monitors.
Many universities now allow AI assistance if it is properly disclosed. If you use Apex Vision AI to help research a paper or solve a problem set, transparency is your best safety net.

Apex Vision AI prioritizes user privacy. We do not share user logs or chat history with third parties or educational institutions unless legally compelled. However, we strongly advise against submitting AI output directly as your own work, as universities utilize AI-detection software (like Turnitin).
Yes. Apex Vision AI uses standard HTTPS encryption to ensure your connection is secure. Your browsing activity is encrypted and private.
Apex Vision AI provides answers and explanations. The intent is for you to learn from the explanation. Simply copying the answer without understanding the process defeats the purpose of the tool and academic growth.
We built Apex Vision AI to level the playing field, giving every student access to an on-demand tutor. We condemn the use of our technology for cheating.
If you are unsure if using an AI tool is permitted for a specific class, we recommend sending the following email to your professor:
