How do the pricing models actually differ?

The two products count usage differently, which makes the sticker prices misleading if you compare them directly.

• QuizSolver's advertised monthly prices are annual-billing prices. $5.42/mo is $64.99 charged once, up front, for a year. Paying month to month costs more.
• Apex Vision AI bills monthly at the advertised price and you can cancel from the account dashboard at any time.
• Volume differs sharply at the entry tier. QuizSolver's cheapest paid plan is 120 answers a month. Apex's cheapest is 500 requests a month.
• The free tiers are not equivalent. Apex publishes a specific number — 30 requests per day, roughly 900 a month. QuizSolver describes "generous daily credits" without publishing the figure.

It depends entirely on volume. If you need unlimited answers, QuizSolver's Quiz Master plan at $18.75/mo billed yearly is cheaper per answer than anything Apex Vision AI sells, because Apex caps its top plan at 2,000 requests a month. If you need a few hundred questions a month and want to pay monthly rather than commit to a year, Apex's $7.99 plan gives you roughly four times the volume of QuizSolver's $5.42 plan.

Which platforms does each support?

QuizSolver lists more platforms. If your coursework lives in Kahoot, Quizlet, Coursera or edX, QuizSolver names those explicitly and Apex Vision AI does not. Apex focuses on the mainstream university LMS set — Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle and Top Hat — plus most standard web quiz interfaces.

The meaningful difference is device coverage rather than platform count: Apex Vision AI has iOS and Android apps for working from a photo of a printed problem, and QuizSolver does not.

How do the workflows differ?

Both work on the page rather than in a separate chat window, so neither requires you to copy a question into ChatGPT. The difference is what comes back. QuizSolver's request types are oriented around producing an answer, with explanation as one of several modes. Apex Vision AI returns a worked explanation by default, which is slower to read but more useful if you are going to be tested on the same material later.

Which one is more accurate?
